QBS Summit a Rousing Success!

On April 2-3, 2009, I hosted our first ever Two-Day QBS Methodology Summit at the Hilton in Atlanta. We had bank presidents sitting next to real estate professionals, small business owners, consultants, a few corporate trainers and plenty of career salespeople. In fact, the room was completely full both days, and I was very pleased with the level of audience participation and overall feedback from the event.
Ironically, the reason we even decided to try this open-enrollment format was because of the number of requests we were receiving from salespeople and managers who didn’t necessarily want to wait for their companies to get around to offering the training in-house.
The question we are now being asked is, “When is the next QBS Methodology Summit?” We are thinking about offering one in the West in July, and then another on the east coast in September. The feedback we get from people like yourself who might be interested in participating will determine where and when these events will be held.
Do you have an interest in this type of open-enrollment QBS program?

I would love to see you folks out in San Diego this summer. I work for a new start-up company, Mushroom Networks. Please contact me at 408-655-2629 if you would like assistance in setting up a summit in our wonderful city. Sincerely, Craig Kolodge, Sales - Mushroom Networks

Tom,
I guarantee our Director of Sales and VP of Sales would be interested in attending if you were to hold a summit in Boston this fall. A couple of months ago I saw a copy of your first book in our VP’s office…and your 1% book is in the Director’s office because I loaned it to her.
If ever there was an internal champion, you have one here at Delta. I believe our organization is ripe for a QBS training or summit.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Notch, Delta Education Sales
Tom,
In Short, “The Summit” was awesome. The QBS methodology coupled with the interaction between the salesteams in the room, made this training a homerun. This may sound malevolent, but please don’t allow any of my competitors to attend these Summits! I’ll work to get our consultants to the other events. Let me know when/where…
Tom,
I feel compelled to reiterate what I said to you on the closing day of the session … I have read your book “Question Based Selling”, I have done your QBS Training Online course but none of those activities can compare to hearing it directly from the “horses mouth”. In this QBS Methodology Summit it all came together, and I finally understood the threading that holds the sales engagement together.
Thanks for a job well done.
Regards,
Paul Dunkley.
